Yes, you read that correctly. June 2017. I was super excited when I saw them release this theme for a card kit but I never actually got around to making cards with it until today. You see, Scrapping for Less is currently looking for new design team members and doing something like that ranks pretty high on my ‘dream scale.’ So I’ve decided that over the next few weeks (the applications are due on February 28th), I’m going to be putting together a collection of cards and blog entries to submit as part of my application. I have never been the type of person to really do New Year’s resolutions. I feel like they always end up being these huge promises you make to yourself that you break in less than a week. Everyone is always starting a diet come January 2nd, because you can’t start it on the 1st when you’re busy eating all the crap you bought for the party the night before. Today, I turn 35. It’s been an interesting year/life so far. I’m not exactly where I thought I would be when I turned 35, but I’m still here. So this year, for my birthday, I’ve decided to make a list. What kind of list, you ask? Well, my blog so far has been full of a lot of whining and complaining about what hasn’t gone right in my life. I’m not really having the best of days today. I came home from work not feeling so well. Than got a call from my boyfriend ranting about our Jeep being stolen. I’m actually pretty sure that it was towed because he ran out of gas and walked off to get some in the can. When he got back, it was MIA. I can’t get ahold of him because he doesn’t have a cell phone and I have no idea where he was when it happened to call the police in that township. But whatever.
